A firm of notaries of real standing in Saint-Tropez

“Notaries are public officers authorised to record any instrument or contract to which the parties are obligated to, or may wish to, invest with the type of authenticity associated with public instruments.”

(Ord. of 2 November 1945 on the status of notaries, art. 1)

B&tt Notaries’ Office was founded at the end of the 19th century and currently comprises two notaries in partnership, Jean Baptiste TROADEC and Julie FOURNIER-TROADEC, along with a salaried notary, Clémence PULBY, and around fifteen other supporting employees.

The Gulf of Saint-Tropez has become an international investment hub. Its privileged geographical and economic context raises specific issues inherent to the region, requiring the development of specific strategies.

Beyond its traditional activities, B&tt has therefore developed a particular knowledge of exceptional real estate operations and cross-border transactions, enabling it to respond relevantly and expertly to the requirements it faces.

In order to guarantee a high-level legal service, B&tt has organised its teams into 3 specialised clusters:

  • Real estate law – Purchase or transfer of private or corporate real estate
  • Property law – Donation, inheritance, sharing,
  • Business law – Commercial and corporate law

The firm also works in close collaboration with other legal professionals in France and abroad to pool know-how and offer its clients an overall transversal analysis of the issues related to their projects.

A notaries’ office at the forefront of innovation

In the light of its clients’ new uses, expectations and requirements, B&tt Notaires Associés invests in the development of digital tools to meet their requirements in terms of responsiveness, mobility and transparency.

B&tt has set up a videoconferencing room to organise appointments and meetings or sign deeds remotely, in real time.

The firm has also adopted an electronic signature to offer authentic, legally valid deeds in digital format.

It also offers to create electronic data-rooms to guarantee the security of all its clients’ digital documents and deeds.

A firm of notaries awarded ISO 9001 certification in 2018

Customer satisfaction is B&tt’s watchword. Implementing the standard in the course of this year is part of its concern to continually improve the quality of the service offered to individuals, companies, investors and institutions at all levels: meeting deadlines, rigor, availability and responsiveness.

“This certification recognises how serious we are, requiring us to think deeply about our organisation and commit ourselves to always meeting our clients’ growing aspirations”

Julie TROADEC, notary in partnership.
